EREMS designed a Scientific Processing and Management Unit in charge of the power supply and control of the instrument and also of the scientific data processing.
Two (2) calculator blocks operating in cold redundancy, each block composed of 3 modules :
- Converters module (CPS)
- A microprocessor unit (CPU)
- An input / output module (I/O)
Four (4) identical ELS converter modules (EPS) interfaced to both calculator blocks.
