The PDU provides the power conversion, switching and protection functions necessary to interface the dedicated payload with APM Power Distribution System.

• Ensure keep alive of power supply of payload during phases of transportation and approach phase ont the ISS
• Ensure the power distribution in the operational phase
• Ensure the control of all power phases of each subsystem
• Ensure the monitoring of supply of each outpu and the associated reports
• Ensure the electrical safety towards the ISS
